Sangla is the place to be if you want to enjoy exciting and adventurous activities. Here’s what all you can do during your stay at the Baikunth Adventure Camp:
Trekking and Fishing
TrekkingWe can arrange the following Treks with Trained Guides and Packed Lunch at No Extra Cost: -
- Batseri Trek - See local village life and a beautiful temple (time - approx 4 hrs)
- Trout Farm Trek – See how Trout fish is bred (time - approx 4 hrs)
- Kamru Fort Trek – An old fort - a great attraction (time - approx 6 hrs)
- Glacier Point Trek – Touch snow at the Glacier Point (time - approx 7 hrs)
- Sangla Kanda Trek – Beautiful meadows and lake at 11,000 Ft. (time - approx 9 hrs)
- Raksham Trek – Beautiful village along the Baspa river (time - approx 10 hrs)
- Chitkul Trek – The last Indian village on this road at a height of 11,300 Ft. (time - approx 7 hrs one way) – return by taxi will be chargeable.
We can also arrange for a day’s excursion in taxis @ Rs. 1500/- to Chitkul (20 Kms from the camp) the last Indian village on this road and then a small trek of 3 Kms to Nagasthi which is the first ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police) post.
Fishing
We can arrange for fishing/angling on the river Baspa, a day’s trip to the Trout farm with trained guides and packed lunch, at no extra cost.
